Application Evaluation Process
Step 1: Application deadline 4th Dec 2015 – General Eligibility check
All complete applications received through the online application form will be considered and checked for general eligibility: Previous Degree and minimum grade point average, English Proficiency and required documents.
Step 2: SELECT+ Evaluation and Ranking
All complete applications will be put forward to the SELECT+ evaluation committee consisting of members from the programme partners. In an evaluation process through February 2016, all candidates will be ranked based on for example previous study success and other academic merits, letters of motivation, work experience, publications, references etc. Please note that each applicant may be contacted by the committee for a personal interview or interview by telephone, an interview which will also be taken into consideration in the evaluation process.
Based on this evaluation, the consortium will decide on who to offer a PhD research place within the SELECT+ PhD programme.
Step 3: Notification of the Accepted Candidates
By April 2016, there should be a notification to all applicants stating if the application was successful and thus if an offer of a PhD research place is given.
Applicants whose application was not ranked high enough, or not eligible will also be notified.
Step 4: Appeal Process
Applicants who for some reason, are of the opinion that the consortium decision is not correct, can appeal. The appeal form below should be sent to: . Appeal is only possible until the date specified in the letter of notification. Appeals received after the dead-line for the same shall not be considered.
