What is SELECT CD
Development of Interactive Learning Material towards Environomical Pathways for Future Energy Services in a Global Perspective
Safe and reliable access to food, water and energy are among the pillars of the future of humanity. This must be achieved in a social and humanitarian environment to ensure a global sustainable future of mankind.
SELECT-CD will develop a unique interactive energy learning material to be used inside the Erasmus Mundus Master Program on “SELECT Environomical Pathways for a Sustainable Energy Future”. All the learning material from “SELECT” will be incorporated in the international learning platform “CompEdu” and will as such be spread well outside the proposed consortium, both at the consortium members own universities as well as a large number of other universities globally.
SELECT-CD project is financed by ERASMUS with the project number: 510849-LLP-1-2010-1-SE-ERASMUS-ECDSP. The project is a cooperation between KTH, Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden; Aalto University School of Science and Technology, Finland; PoliTo, Politecnico di Torino, Italy; TU/e, Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, Netherlands and UPC, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain.
The project includes 9 work packages as follows:
WP1: Project Management
WP2: Development of interactive learning materials in solar energy
WP3: Development of interactive learning materials in Wind energy
WP4: Development of interactive learning materials in Energy use is sustainable cities
WP5: Development of interactive learning materials in Biomass
WP6: Development of interactive learning materials in Thermal energy storage
WP7: Dissemination of the project
WP8: Quality management
WP9: Development of interactive learning materials in Security of supply, Energy management and Policy
