A lecture by Prof. Max Platzer for the SELECT and THRUST students


The 7th of May 2013, Prof. Maximilian Platzer held a lecture entitled “Ocean Wind Power- Is it a key for a rapid transition to Sustainable Energy?” for the SELECT and THRUST students.

 

Prof. Max. F. Platzer is an Adjunct Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of California Davis. He was a member of Wernher von Braun SATURN rocket development team for six years and a professor of aeronautics and astronautics at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, for 34 years. He is a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Prof. Max Platzer as a scholar in the MSc SELECT programme have supported the SELECT MSc students in their PoYs and IPoYs. He attended the final presentations of the PoYs and IPoYs at TU/e in Eindhoven on May 16th and 17th.
